“IAEA International Meeting of Front-Line Officers - Common Language” for peace and stability

IAEA contributes its efforts for the Nuclear Security internationally, and promotes building of formal and personal connections among Law-enforcement, National Security, Border Security, Customs, Police and other professionals, with the mission to establish common language to deter, stop and prevent threats deriving from the illicit handling of Nuclear and other radioactive materials.

Around 75 representatives of Front-Line organization from all inhabited continents participated in the IAEA International Meeting of Front-Line Officers.

The Moto of the event is Empowering Front-Line Officers, with the mission to foster global cooperation and collaboration to enhance Nuclear Security.

Communication, Information sharing, advanced technologies, national experiences are in the arsenal of Front-Line Officers to address emerging threats of Nuclear Security.

The IAEA NS MORC Section and Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority, wonderful teams, added high-valued contribution into the international efforts organizing and hosting the International Meeting of FLO in Luxor, Egypt.
